Mälarbanan railway reconstruction project in Sweden

In the northern part of Stockholm, in the municipality of Sundbyberg, the two-track Mälarbanan railway is being reconstructed into a four-track railway. The length of the reconstructed section is 3.45 km. The project envisages the construction and reconstruction of two tunnels (1.5 km and 0.45 km in length), two railway stations, bridges, retaining walls and other structures.
