Preparation of the description of simple repair of Mažeikiai– Reņģe railway stretch to the Latvian border under reconstruction by UAB Vitras-S

UAB Kelprojektas prepares the description of simple repair of Mažeikiai– Reņģe railway stretch to the Latvian border under reconstruction by UAB Vitras-S.

It is planned to reconstruct 19 kilometers of railway stretch from Mažeikiai to the Lithuanian-Latvian border in the scope of the entire Reņģe reconstruction project, as well as to repair or reconstruct five crossings, six bridges, three tunnels, install or reconstruct operation of traffic management systems and related communications and electrical systems and carry out other works.

It is planned to reconstruct the stretch from Mažeikiai to Reņģe in Latvia by the end of 2019 in accordance with the action plan agreed with the European Commission.
