Kelprojektas acquired the engineering company – UAB Urbanistika

Kelprojektas is strengthening its position in territory planning and building a group of companies. For this purpose on 21 June the company acquired a controlling portfolio of shares of UAB Urbanistika. It is planned that the turnover of Kelprojektas territory planning services will significantly increase after this transaction and total approximately 4 million litas or 10 percent of total turnover of Kelprojektas in 2013.
“Good operating results of our company enable us to actively expand our activities through not only going abroad, but also acquiring a successfully operating Lithuanian company. By becoming a group of companies, we will be able to strengthen our position on the market and offer superior services to our customers. It is a substantial step in the history of Kelprojektas”, said Algimantas Medžiaušis, CEO of UAB Kelprojektas.
According to A. Medžiaušis, Urbanistika employs top-level specialists, and this is demonstrated by their projects and trust of their customers. The manager expects that the experience, accrued by the specialists of this company over several decades, will enable to achieve the best results in complex territory planning.
On the market Urbanistika is identified by professional elaboration of general, special, and detailed plans. The main areas of activities of Urbanistika are complex territory planning, project implementation and engineering supervision, as well as architectural-technical consulting activities. UAB Urbanistika also designs residential and non-residential buildings, communication and engineering networks, as well as other structures.
